Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody is getting a few more friends to keep it company in Rock Band 3. MTV Games and Harmonix have announced that a bunch of Queen songs new to the Rock Band series will be released on December 7th along with updates to already available tracks.

The tracks are being split into two packs: the "Queen RB3 Enhanced Pack" and "Queen Extravaganza Pack 01". The former features updated Rock Band 3 versions of “I Want It All,” “I Want to Break Free,” “Killer Queen,” “One Vision,” “Somebody to Love” and “Under Pressure”.

The second pack contains the new songs: “Hammer to Fall,” “Keep Yourself Alive,” “Now I’m Here,” “Tenement Funster” and “Play the Game;” as well as Rock Band 3 versions of “We Are the Champions” and “We Will Rock You,” both of which originally appeared in LEGO Rock Band.

Wait, you have to pay extra for the pro guitar/bass parts? Now they're just money grubbing. Oh well, not like I was gonna' get a pro-guitar anyway.

I had hoped that the songs that featured piano parts would be automatically patched in rb3, but it's looking like we'll need to download (and pay for) upgraded versions. What a rip off. Maybe I'll just stick with rb2 and call it good.
