To cash in on celebrate Mario's 25th anniversary, Nintendo announced two red hardware bundles for the UK - one for the Wii and one for the DSi XL. Worry not, North America is getting a piece of that action, too, just with some differences in the packages' contents.

For the UK, the package comes with a red Wii, a matching red Wii Remote Plus, a copy of New Super Mario Bros Wii, Wii Sports and a digital copy of the original Donkey Kong. The bundle coming to North America gets the same bundle except for the pre-installed copy of Donkey Kong. The whole enchilada will be priced at US$ 199.99.

As for the DSi XL bundle, it will come with a copy of Mario Kart DS instead of the New Super Mario Bros. that's coming to the UK. All the other little things - like the DSiWare games Brain Age Express: Math, Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Photo Clock app - will still be in the bunch. This enchilada rings up at US$ 179.99.

Both bundles will be available by November 7th.
