THQ have followed up the release of the first Red Faction: Armageddon trailer last week with a formal announcement of the game.
The announcement is a bit light on exact details, but it does mention a March 2011 release date for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. A multiplayer co-op mode has also been confirmed.
The rest are just story snippets. Red Faction: Armageddon will apparently see players delve even deeper into Mars as main character Darius Mason tries to stop "a long-dormant evil" he unwittingly releases that threatens the lives of the colonists.
