id Software and Bethesda Softworks has unveiled the date and location of QuakeCon 2010. Often hailed as the Woodstock of gaming, this year's event will return in Texas in August. The expo will be held at the Hilton Anatole Hotel, Dallas, Texas, on August 12th-15th 2010.
As in years past, the annual convention will be free of charge and will feature the highly anticipated BYOC LAN party, which allows thousands of gamers to bring their own computers and join the highly competitive tournaments. It is also expected to include some new game announcements, keynotes, booth babes and the latest and greatest technology the companies have to offer. Stay tune for more updates.
