Avid gamers usually only have three things that they want for Christmas: some new games, a new game system, or some fancy accessories for their console of choice. The thing is, there are just too many games out there right now -- some of which aren't really worth the paper their box art is printed on.
Even when it comes to consoles, it gets kinda hard to decide which one to get especially if you're shopping for a non-gamer, especially now that the big three each have their own motion control peripherals. Should I go controller-free and spring for Microsoft's Kinect system? Will Sony's PlayStation Move controller be better suited for my gaming habits? Or should I just stick to the tried-and-tested Nintendo Wii?
To make things a bit easier for Christmas shoppers (and let's face it, if you're a gamer chances are you'll be too busy playing during the weekends to get some Christmas shopping done before the rush starts), we've put together this little list of recommendations. Read on!
