PSN to be down for maintenance tomorrow, Store updates coming tonight

Whatever business you may have with the PlayStation Store or the rest of the PlayStation Network, please be advised that the network will be down for several hours tomorrow, September 21st. Since the maintenance period overlaps the regular Tuesday Store update, new content will be made available tonight.

 

PSN service will be undergoing scheduled maintenance tomorrow from 8AM until about 5PM PST and will affect both the US and European fronts. Updates on the PlayStation Store will be released tonight to avoid delay, and the complete list will be available as soon as the content is live. Keep checking back with us tonight for the PlayStation Store update.

The PSN deals with all aspects of Sony's online services. You will not be able to play online while it is under maintenance, nor will you be able to sign in/go to the PSN Store.

And if they have any sense they'll add some decent services worth paying for while they on, because PSN's about to lose a s*it load of revenue because of Psjailbreak, but hey this is Sony we talking about so they'll probably just bitch and moan about piracy untill they run the Playstation brand into the ground.

Well their 3.50 Update is live. Its a MANDATORY Update and it's new feature is to allow the playback of Blu-Ray 3D Movies on a 3D Enabled TV.

I'm pretty sure this blocks any form of JailBreaking aswell or beefs up their security.

They do this to maintain every thing in order, optimize it and verify that's all in 100% (not really 100% but near).

People have the right to complain and not update, Sony sucks at updates and that's a fact, shove it up your ass, serikilla2324.
