For some reason, mainstream media just can't get enough of good ol' NYC. Rather, they can't get enough of seeing it blown up, flooded, burned, and for all intents and purposes, trashed. In Crytek's visually-stunning Crysis 2, the battle rages on in the year 2023, and surprise, surprise, Manhattan doesn't look the same.
The combat's intense, the visuals are top notch, but one more aspect of Crysis 2 that Crytek really wanted to develop was its story. The developer wanted a hard-hitting storyline for the game so they enlisted best-selling sci-fi author, Richard Morgan, who also happens to be a gamer.
Crytek's covering all the bases for Crysis 2, and they will need to if they don't want any scores below 90.
