Plants vs. Zombies shambling towards Nintendo DS next year

The insanely popular Plants vs. Zombies is taking over the Nintendo DS in the US next year, PopCap Games has confirmed.

The DS version will feature Adventure, Survival and Puzzle modes, mini-games and “new and exclusive game content". It's set for release in the US in January 2011. The price point is expected to be around US$ 20.

An XBLA version of the tower defense game is also slated for release early next month.
