The 3rd Birthday may not have a definite release date yet, but Tetsuya Nomura already has something in mind to further whet gamers' appetites for the PSP game's launch.

 

“But, before The 3rd Birthday I’d like to do something for the numerous requests for the archives [version] of 1st and 2nd,” Nomura posted on Twitter. Parasite Eve 1 and 2 were originally released on the PSOne in 1998 and 2000, respectively.

 

Square Enix has stated before that they are considering a PSN release of the two games due to fans' requests.

no thanks - they are already available to download via other routes and anyway, they are old and smelly.. so no extra royalties for you - just get on with it and release the damn game. god knows this platform needs new titles not more re-hashed old sheet.

PE1 was a fine game.
Worth buying a hardcopy with the booklet and everything.
