No Rock Band 3 keyboard PS3 bundle for North America

The more observant Rock Band fans out there may have noticed that the keyboard plus game Rock Band 3 bundles for PS3 have been pulled from retailer listings. According to Harmonix, this is because that particular bundle apparently won't available in North America.

Without any further elaboration, Harmonix revealed on the official Rock Band forums that "agreement terms for the region" have excluded the bundle from release in the US, Canada, and Mexico. MTV Games and Mad Catz, however, are working with retailers to give those who already pre-ordered separate keyboards and game discs at pre-order prices.

Although the PS3 bundle has been pulled, the keyboard peripheral and Rock Band 3 will still be available as separately sold items. North American Xbox 360 and Wii gamers are unaffected, as are PS3 gamers in Europe.

I don't see why Mad Catz are helping. I'm all for that, dont get me wrong, but after Sony had the biggest whinge about third party peripherals why would they stand by them?

I think everyone should boyco the ps3 for a period of time just to wake Sony up. Who keeps them running? Who buys the consoles and how much do they depend on customers? Why piss us off if we keep them afloat?

Here's my theory on this. Microsoft did pay them off. The reason Nintendo isn't affected is because Microsoft isn't in competition with Nintendo. Well, they are, but only with the whole "Movement control" space. So after seeing this, it's basically a whole new low for Microsoft.
