Nintendo will not exhibit at CES after all

Nintendo won't be joining Microsoft and Sony at next year's Consumer Electronics Show after all. Well according to PCWorld, Consumer Electronics Association "erroneously included Nintendo of America among companies exhibiting as part of the gaming showcase at the conference. Nintendo will take meeting rooms at the conference but won't exhibit, CEA said in a press release issued Tuesday."

Gaming companies that will for sure exhibit in CES show floor will include AMD, Intel, HP, Microsoft, Nokia and Sony, as well as publishers and developers such as Alcazar Entertainment, Cosmi, DC Comics/Warner and DreamWorks Animation,.CEA added. The next CES will take place in Las Vegas from January 6 through January 9, 2011.

CES isn't the forum for video games. The 360 and PS3 take up maybe 5% of floor space for MS and Sony. Even then it's not all about video games. They are showing off the other aspects of those devices. Since Nintendo is 100% video games...they have no place at CES. I was wondering why the heck they would even go.

It would be nice to show off their new ELECTRONIC hardware but oh well.

Nobody cares about CES. Including Nintendo. Good for them.

Video games companies getting the shaft at CES was part of the reason E3 was founded.
