Nintendo Wii Remote Plus coming soon?

flingsmash-wiimoteplusNintendo isn't saying anything official on the matter, but it seems they may be getting ready to release a Wii Remote that already has the Motion Plus accessory built into it.

Earlier this week, a GameStop listing for the upcoming Wii exclusive FlingSmash included a box shot that clearly states the game will come with something called "Wii Remote Plus".

The combination of the controller and accessory's names suggests a similar hardware integration for the two themselves.

FlingSmash, which is being developed by Artoon, is listed with a November 7 ship date.

Integrated Motion Plus is a pretty good idea. Something to counter Move with, probably?

Not sure about that. You can already have motion plus, this is just all nicely integrated.

One of my third party remotes died on me so I'll probably pick one of these up.

Would be nice to have it as an all in one.

Hope it has an off switch for the motion plus part. Some games cannot be played with it enabled, Mario Galaxy for example. The cursor jerks around like crazy. Has to be removed.

I haven't played my Wii for months. Not enough games worth buying for it. :sigh: I will probably by Move before upgrading my Wii controls.

I already have one! It was a Wii remote made in China that already had the MotionPlus built into it...it's the exact same size as the original controller, and it fits all the accessories. The coolest part was that it cost less that $30 (with shipping)!
