ng3Right now, Team Ninja is hard at work in developing the next Ninja Gaiden. They've completed a prototype in their studio already, as a matter of fact. They're not yet ready to out anything in public just yet though, new ninja master Yosuke Hayashi just left a few teases when he spoke with Japanese gaming mag, Famitsu.

Despite the amount that Team Ninja has completed, Hayashi just gave some small hints about the game and is curious about what speculations would the fan base have about it. According to the new Team Ninja head, the game will go "back to basics".

Long time fans of the franchise have a reason to be happy about, although this is a different Team Ninja we're now looking at. Hayashi didn't specify which parts of the game will go back to its roots, but he did specify that it's not entirely tied to the past. Ninja Gaiden 3, he says, still comes packed with features new to the series despite its adherence to the core gameplay from the two previous iterations.

Thanks again Peter!
