Now that we have a new date for Gran Turismo 5, let's not forget about the racing game that's coming a week before that. I'm talking about Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, which now gives us a montage of sleek, expensive super cars and how they end up in a ballet of wrecks and clutter.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit hits the finish line on November 16th.

the cars still look stiff when they crash-head-on, but i like the little improvement on emphasis and animation

I tried the demo and it felt worse than the original game. I'm not even interested anymore. Hot Pursuit 2 on PS2 is my fave.

This looks like Burnout 2's graphics. Like not the cars, but the crushed parts and the crashes.

The hood of the cars don't crunch up at when hitting something head on. I don't like how all you have to do as a cop is hit the cars a couple times to pull them over. NFS Most Wanted was best when you actually had to stop the cars for it to count. I miss that game.
