What's blue and fast and looking ultra-retro in this gameplay video? If you answered Sonic the Hedgehog, then congratulations! You get a pat on the back. This here is Sonic the Hedgehog 4's Episode 1.

 

 

 

 

 

At this point in time, Sega is still mum as to when exactly they're planning to unleash this super fast hedgehog, but we're hoping to hear more about it during PAX. It's slated to run cicrcles on  your XBLA, PSN and WiiWare.

Sonic Rush (DS) was much better than Sonic Rivals (PSP).

Looked like Sega only published the good Sonic games for DS and not PSP, damn.

And I disagree with the other guy saying GBA version was crap.

Definitely adding this to my watch list. Damn, I've got a lot of games on my list now. lol.

There is no school like the old school. Retro is underrated nowadays especially with the 3D tech.

I think this calls for another run-through of some of my favorite games. This looks very true to the original formula. I think Sega finally understands we don't need 3D with our Sonic.
