Stranglethorn ValeBlizzard Entertainment has announced the opening of two new "Oceanic" Realms in the world of Azeroth: Aman'Thul will be a PvE realm, while Barthilas will be a PvP area.

In World of Warcraft, Azeroth is divided into several "Realms," each of which is a specific type. In Normal Realms, players fight monsters, rather than other players. In Player vs. Player Realms, of course, one fights other gamers, who may attack without warning. The Role Playing Realm allows players to create a character and assume a virtual identity.

The  new Realms will go live at midnight (Pacific Time) tonight, June 8th.  Oceanic players may begin creating characters at the best time for them. The new realms will allow Oceanic players to get a fresh start in Azeroth.
