which means that the concept of rythm and timing is only on a level where you're doing 2 things at once (moving the 3d stick around and pressing the button.
most other games such as this have more buttons to press at the same time which can really improve your rythm skills. (guitar hero drumming is a good example of this)

There's a good selection of songs from multiple genres (robthom - the track in the video is the only track of that genre, I guess you'd call it house or techno).
Visually I agree at first glance beats springs to mind, however the difference when you play it is obvious. The levels in Vibes are scripted for the songs, so sections flow and pop in time to the music, but in beats because it's trying to match button presses to audio data on the fly, the experience is no where near as compelling.
Give it a shot, its a must for any rhythm action fan.
