Atari and Sony has teamed up once again to bring us another ghost-busting title, but this time, they are going in the downloadable route as they announced Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, a four-player adventure game that will have you reprising the role of the rookie, hired by the original ghostbusters from last year's Ghostbusters: The Video Game, in an effort to fight off a new supernatural threat.

The games is said to feature gigantic bosses, Ecto-4WD driving, online and local co-op, as well as the entirety of the ghostbusting arsenal: the proton stream, plasma inductor and the fermion shock.

Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime will be out on the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Windows PC download in spring 2011.

Maybe this is a prelude. Anyway, any decent Ghostbusters games can only be a good thing.
