NCsoft Releases New City of Villains and City of Heroes Expansion: Destiny Manifest |

Issue 7 of the popular NCSoft MMORPGs CIty of Heroes and City of Villains "raises the bar for villain mayhem and adds revolutionary new PvP zone," according to the company's official press release.
“Destiny Manifest” was released yesterday in both North America and Europe. This expansion features new level 40 to 50 content for villains, opportunities for villains to wreak havoc in new “mayhem missions,” and a new player-versus-player (PvP) zone where villains and heroes battle for control of a "dynamically changing" battlefield.
The expansion is free to for current subscribers of both games.
The new content for CoV includes more than 300 new missions and a new zone called Grandville for players level 40 and higher. Grandville is the home of Spider City, the vertically built capital of archvillain Lord Recluse™, the leader of the Arachnos.
"Mayhem missions" allow villains to enter instanced City of Heroes zones in Paragon City™. Villains will be able to wreak as much havoc on the zone as possible while reaping rewards and loot. Villains can unlock multiple random events, harass citizens and battle the new Paragon City Police.
A new feature to both CoH and CoV is the new Level 40 to 50 PvP zone, called RecluseÂ’s Victory, which is
a replica of Paragon City’s Atlas Park™. Here, villains and heroes fight for armed control points. Depending on who is winning, the zone will appear as the "peaceful and shining version" of Atlas Park
or post-apocalyptic nightmare vision of Atlas Park. Heroes and villains can control over
artillery weapons that include mobile siege weapons that can help either side gain the upper hand. When one side is winning, powerful signature characters may appear to aid the losing side and help take back control points. This will give players the opportunity to go mano-a-mano Lord Recluse, Statesman or other figures.
Matt Miller, lead designer for CoH and CoV, says “Players will have a blast exploring the new high-level content and causing endless destruction in the new mayhem missions, which take being a villain to a new low.”
Issue 7 lets villains above Level 40 to obtain “patron powers.” These new abilities are derived from CoV signature villains like Ghost Widow™, Captain Mako™, Scirocco™ or Black Scorpion™. Players will be able to control powers like Ghost Widow’s "soul storm" - which levitates and spins its victims in the air - or Captain Mako’s "Spirit Shark."
There are also new base features including storage items, empowerment stations, super group banners and base color tinting, as well as newcostume options "sweeping art and graphics improvements" to CoH.

Destiny Manifest don't you mean Manifest Destiny. Wow now gaming companys are using words but just moving the words backwards. The defintion of Manifest Destiny is the right or the duty that the United States has to own all land from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. So what do you think about the name now.
