When it was released back in October, NBA 2K10 met feedback from both ends of the court - some said it sucked, some said it rocked. But despite getting a bipolar reception, the sales will always have its say on the matter - and what it says for NBA 2K10 is that two million copies have already been sold.

"We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished this year with NBA 2K10, and this milestone is another fantastic reason to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the NBA 2K franchise,” said 2K president Christoph Hartmann. “We would like to thank all of our loyal fans for their dedicated support and look forward to the continued success of this title."

While it's 60% larger than 2K9's figures from the same time frame last year, the two million includes sales from the PSP and Wii versions in addition to the PS3-Xbox 360 formats, plus that one copy that doesn't leave Ryan F's PS3. Still, two million is two million. Whether or not NBA 2K10 is a quality game, I'll leave that for the players to decide.

gameplay-wise, i still think 2K9 is better.. plus those frequent erratic passes can get pretty annoying..

I personally play 2k10 on the PC and think it's the best basketball game ever made. Besides NBA Jam: TE. :D Great graphics, wonderful presentation, and it's more polished than Live.

I have always loved 2k sports basketball games. For example after playing 2k3 when it first came out I said I had to get the game, later when 2k6 was out I got both games, then sold my 2k3 in a few months, then about a month later bought another 2k3. Man I love me some 2k basketball.
