Mortal Kombat's missing Link |

Kratos is set to make Mortal Kombat - PS3 gamers very happy once he sets out to join in on the action. While no word has been made as to who the special character will be for the Xbox 360 version, word has hit the web that someone very special could have also been a part of it, had only the game been made for the Wii as well.
Nintendo insiders are claiming that none other than Link would have made the cut as the Wii's exclusive bonus character for Mortal Kombat. However, there was never any indication that Warner Bros. was actually considering a Wii port of the fighting game. It could have been just mere wishful thinking that never got to fruition, but still, it sure is a nice thought that Link would be mingling with all those other characters.
Who knows, he could have made besties with Kratos.

On video games there is no such thing as "kids" and No kids" or "adult game" ( unless is PORN ).. But some people think drawing an imaginary "line" will make them look "cooler"... like 30+ playing GTA 4, while the next door has a 12 yrs old doing the same..
The line is more ...Game type A, Type B, Type C...and you have children, minors, teens and adults playing the games..
Rating are a mater of explicit content, only...

For Xbox 360, it's either, Master Chief, Marcus Fenix or Alan Wake.
It would be awesome to have Sam Fisher representing the 360 version, but that's not going to happen.

As for the not cool remark, I don't need characters to say fuck multiple times, rip someone's limbs off or seduce women on his off time to be cool. Sure, Sonic may look cool but Sega has been messing up their mascot recently with an occasional good game and the rest being okay. Nintendo characters may not be the manliest and hardcore but some cool ones do exist. The only Nintendo characters suitable for Mortal Kombat, as a previous poster suggested was Killer Instinct but I believe Rare might have ownership of that (shame since they're a former shadow of what they used to be). I was thinking of No More Heroes but since it's being ported, it's no longer Nintendo only.
A cool character just has to look bad ass. He doesn't have to be a bad ass.
