Hasbro remakes their classic board game, Monopoly, into something more interactive, something more enjoyable. Monopoly Streets for the DS, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 is about to hit the streets and we've got the first dev diary for it right here.

In case you're having a hard time imagining how the board game can translate into an enjoyable video game and not just another veritable snoozefest, then we suggest there's nothing else to do but click that play button right there. You'll need all your acquisition skills for this one.

Every single digital monopoly-game is way too slow and you always wait for some crappy animation to end.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Monopoly but whenever someone tries to make a digital version, it usually fails AND winds up taking 10 times longer to play.

The best digital version I ever played was on my PPC and you could skip all animations and computer actions.
