ModNation Racers release date announced, pre-order bonuses revealed

Sony and United Front Games' upcoming customizable kart-racing title has been dated. Yes folks, ModNation Racers, the PlayStation exclusive game that features the same "Play, Create, Share" genre as LittleBigPlanet will be out this May. And as an added incentive for those who preorder the game, you can score a modified version of Ratchet and Clank, Nathan Drake and Kratos at participating retail stores.

 

If you pre-order your copy of the game from GameStop, you can add Kratos and his Kart of Chaos in your list of racers. Pre-order from Amazon? Then you can race as Ratchet or Clank. Big fan Nathan Drake? Then you can add him and his Jungle Jeep when you pre-order the game from Best Buy.

 

But that's not all folks, each pre-order will also include an additional bonus Mystery Mod and Kart package taht will include not just the special Mod and Kart, but additional accessories that you can use to make your own custom creations.
