MLB 2K11 official release date announced

It's time to get those baseball mitts out of the closet. 2K Sports has now confirmed the official release date for the latest iteration of their MLB franchise, MLB 2K11.

Thanks to their Facebook page, we now know that March 8th, 2011 is the date to mark red on your calendars. We do wish, though, that they'll say more about the game -- or better yet, show us more of it.

No complaints in Roy Halladay being the poster boy for the latest Major League Baseball video game boxart. MLB 2K11 is set to get pitched to your Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, Wii, PC and PS2.
