Konami is finally bringing Hideo Kojima's patented brand of mindscrewery (not a real word) to the Xbox 360 next year with Metal Gear Solid: Rising. So, when can gamers expect it to drop? GameStop reckon they know.
The Metal Gear Solid: Rising listing on the retailer's online store currently shows a June 3, 2011, projected release date. Of course it's not a confirmation but you should probably try and make sure you have some money to spend around that time, even if the game does end up being released in 2012.
Metal Gear Solid: Rising takes a break from the series' "Tactical Espionage Action" and will instead be focusing more on "Lightning Bolt Action" with pretty boy cyborg ninja Raiden. So expect less stealth and more katana slicing.
