How many years has it been since we last got our Metal Gear on? In any case, there was a lot of anticipation going into the release of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker in Japan, but it seems that there was a more-wanted title in the radar. Care to take a guess?
That game is Square Enix's Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2, which outsold everyone else in the previous week with 624,000 copies in its debut. Peace Walker, in the meantime, settled for second with 434,000, but with all the ads in that game, they probably made more money anyway.

it has it's own style, it plays fluidly, has verry original ideas and has a an emotional aspect too.
just because you don't like it deosn't mean it's overrated.
MW2, that shit is overrated...why?
cause it has nothing special to it. nothing out of the ordinary, it just plays good. but everyone is like oooh mw2 is the shit.
just a standard war based 3d shooter...a good one, but generic, yes.

Personally, I think MGS1 was underrated. That game is just perfection personified.
MGS4, on the other hand, never deserved 10/10. Far from it. Some aspects of the game were brilliant, but there were too many atrocities committed... The aweful storyline, for one.
