Electronic Arts has announced today that the long awaited first-person shooter, Medal of Honor, has moved more than 1.5 million units in its first five days on sale. The game also climbed on top of the UK charts this week, according to the latest data from tracking firm GfK-ChartTrack. To celebrate the achievement, EA has announced that they will release an all-new explosive multiplayer mode next month, for free,to owners of the game with Online Pass.

Scheduled to arrive on the 2nd of November via Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network, the free multiplayer mode titled Clean Sweep "is an elimination mode where players must rely on their own skill and teammates’ expertise to prevail as the winning team. This exhilarating mode is playable across two all-new maps (Bagram Hangar and Khyber Caves) as well as redesigned versions of the popular Diwagal Camp and Kabul City Ruins maps."

Frank Gibeau, President at EA stated, “Medal of Honor is one of EA’s most storied franchises and we’re thrilled to see that fans worldwide have embraced it. In this ultra competitive category, Medal of Honor stands out from the pack. By portraying the Tier 1 Operator as so elite, so tough, Medal of Honor offers a view into a world that has the power to resonate with FPS gamers everywhere.”

you see im the opposite

i though the sp was pathetic, th story anyway

i realise they were trying to be more realistic but realism isnt very fun

i thought the gameplay mechanics were brilliant aswell as the graphics

but the story was untold, anyone know if their was one, apart from towards the end (ie the rescue). it was basically were gonna stick the taliban infront of you, kill them

i originally thought the sp would be brillant but it let me down, i thought the mp would be horrible. however

i enjoy mp, thing is, its not MOH its BC2 suited for denser maps. and i feel a bit cheated in that sense

Unlocks should be better, you should be able to carry 2 main guns (as in sp), and slide, dont care about prone, infact probably best its not there

basically if you liked bc2 or couldnt get into it, get this gameits the same only the pace is faster, it still manages to keep tactic which cod cant. people stick together etc

overall, its a wait for cod then ill make my decision (only rented)

also anyone realise cod is getting like quake/css
(basically i want cod for the wager matches and thats all, moh should get that mode in, but theyd need to revamp their system)

The multiplayer is horrible. There is about 60 pages so far on the Official EA forum for Medal of Honor feedback, pretty much every single one is negative.

My impression is that any new FPS always gets the top spot in the UK sales charts. Man, those brits sure love their shooters..

All the feedback is complaints because only people who play CoD are going to give feedback. Those who enjoy the game are going to be playing the game, instead of leaving feedback. It does everything I wanted it to, which is everything CoD never did. It feels much more true to the classic FPS games, and isn't catering to the new wave of trendy CoD players. I recommend it if you're a serious gamer and fps fan.

Get over campers. If you're really good it doesn't matter. Don't run blindly around corners. The no kill cam is because that's a cheap way to get a free kill.

I'm not leaving any feedback, I'm just giving comments on an article. I'm not on the EA website leaving n00btard complaints. A spell check would prove very helpful for you.
