Matchmaking patch also coming to Modern Warfare 2

You've seen what the Stimuus Pack for Modern Warfare 2 looks like, and pretty much, you've already been made aware what lies in wait for you there. However, that's not all there is to it, apparently.

Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has taken to Twitter to confirm that alongside the Stimulus Pack, a Matchmaking patch will also be arriving in tow.

Said his tweet: "The patch is completely separate from any DLC, something everyone will get regardless if they buy DLC or not. Should hit on 30th."

The Stimulus Pack has been announced to arrive on March 30th, featuring five maps, and priced at a steep 1200 Microsoft Points.

So they keep adding things they should have added when they first made the game? Maybe sometime soon they throw in dedicated servers and quote themselves "See? we care about our customers" This company just rakes in the money and the best way to do that is through the x-box, IW no longer cares about their community, only their income

While I love Modern Warfare, it has treated me, and a lot of people like its... well its not a friendly word.

I'm a 360 gamer, and its been getting the most attention, albeit faulty. Modern Warfare 2, I get such thrills with RPG's, but this game is simply too broken to warrant the use of my 1200 points. I'll be happier with my Toy Soldiers game thanks.

Until I hear most if not all the bugs gone, I'm not buying the DLC.

Same here. guns are not balanced, glitches, boosting, hacking, and people running all over the map with commando pisses me off.

i could see it will come when oxbl is shutdown so the freind list cap can be removed

what do they want an award?

Online multiplayers are supposed to have match making.

Just like previously ps2 sequels had the old maps on them for free. Old maps are supposed to be free.

IW and MS are like a team wrecking ball destroying the fabric of gaming as we know it.

This is why I traded my PS3 in for a 360. I get the map pack sooner and I get better game support. Plus the 360 market place has hella better content than the PSN Store.
