mvc3If Ryota Niitsuma were to have his way, he'd expand Marvel vs. Capcom 3 to include three or four-way battles. The producer revealed this in a recent interview with VideoGamer.com last week.

Said Niitsuma, "This is not something that's been done - and it would be very difficult - but withouth restraints I'd like to mix more than two parties into one game. So rather than one vs. one it would be a three party game, or perhaps four. I think that would be pretty interesting."

That does sound like fun. He did not say, however, if they will be pushing this idea of his in the near future. We'll keep you posted, though, if anything else does come up.

Isuka had everyone on the screen at once, and was for PS2 which required multitap, and not too many had that. Add to the fact you need to press R1 to look behind you and yeah, the game wasn't XX# Reload. LUCKILY however, MVC is a tag in and out game, and we have online support and multiple controllers on each console, so ALL of the above Isuka issues just *disappear*

well, how will we know who's the best player that round if it's like royal rumble.. hmmm.. it will be based on luck.. it could work if it's a separate mode for those who like it but for arcade & story modes, it should be the classic 1-on-1.

No one said "Hey let's disable the 1v1 option totally and make them co-op!" People these days can't appreciate an addon and if it sucks, just don't use it. That's how I treat Madden gameflow, I ignore it.

Looking at the interview, I think you guys are misinterpreting what he said. Sounds like he wants a crossover with more than 2 companies, like a Marvel vs Capcom vs DC or something.

excerpt from interview:

"Q: In the past we've had Capcom vs Marvel, Capcom vs SNK and soon Capcom vs Namco. What would your dream collaboration be? Who would you love to see Capcom join together with?

RN:This is not something that's been done - and it would be very difficult - but without restraints, I'd like to mix more than two parties into one game. So rather than one vs one, it would be a three party game, or perhaps four. I think that would be pretty interesting."
