| 3. Shadow Mode DLC |
The first DLC pack will contain Jill, Shuma Gorath, and the previously mentioned costumes. They'll be up for download on March 1st for US$ 4.99 or 400 Microsoft Points.
That same day, the second DLC pack will also hit the consoles' respective stores. This one introduces the Shadow Mode, which lets you fight custom-programmed teams and playing styles based on real players. For this Shadow Mode set, you'll get a feel of what it'll be like to fight producer Ryota Niitsuma, assistant producer Akihito Kadowaki, and one of the dev team's QA leads.

Think of Shadow Mode as a more specific ghost data feature. For times you'd like some practice with something better than AI opponents, you can get some sparring rounds through this feature. Capcom notes that succeeding Shadow Mode players will be from "personalities you know," so it's possible that we get the likes of perhaps Seth Killian, Yoshinori Ono, or even actual pro gamers like Daigo Umehara and Justin Wong. Until there's a confirmation, however, we'll leave that up to speculation.

Stop making DLC so dam f***ing early and include it with the game you tight gits. And stop with the bloody collector's editions. Us consumers aren't all thick and we know that we're being ripped off.
People wonder why piracy is so rampant.

If you wanna talk DLC, take a note or two from Bioware.

MVC2 had 56 characters....all with alternative costumes, and other unlocks.
MVC3 has 36 with the option to buy 2 for $5 with a few extra costumes....gtfo here Capcom. If you think the DLC is making you more money your wrong. More people are starting to stop purchasing your games all together. DLC Scumbags.

Also, no one in any sprite based fighter ever has an alternate costume in the same sense as this DLC. An alternate color palette is an entirely different thing. So no, there were no alternate costumes in MvC2.
