Lynyrd Skynyrd hits Rock Band 3 next week

Next week, the Rock Band 3 music store of downloadable content will add four songs from legendary rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd, plus singles from English rockers Bad Company and 38 Special.

 

Listed as among Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Artists of All Time and are members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Lynyrd Skynyrd will add four more tracks in the Rock Band 3 Music Store beginning Nov. 30. These tracks will include “Saturday Night Special,” “Sweet Home Alabama (Live)” and “What’s Your Name?”, all of which feature Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades, as well as the hit “Tuesday’s Gone.”

Additionally, American rockers 38 Special will also add their single “Hold on Loosely” along with English rockers Bad Company with their track “Can’t Get Enough”, both of which will feature a Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades.

Available on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii starting November 30, these tracks will include:

  • 38 Special – “Hold On Loosely” X
  • Bad Company – “Can’t Get Enough” X
  • Lynyrd Skynyrd – “Saturday Night Special” X
  • Lynyrd Skynyrd – “Sweet Home Alabama (Live)” X
  • Lynyrd Skynyrd – “Tuesday’s Gone”
  • Lynyrd Skynyrd – “What’s Your Name?” X

All original master recordings, each track will cost US$ 1.99 / 160 MS Points / 200 Wii Points. The "Lynyrd Skynyrd Pack 01" on the other hand will set you back US$ 6.99 / 560 MS Points. Songs marked with an "X" will include Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for US$ 0.99 per song.
