NetherRealm Studios has been outing trailer after trailer for the Mortal Kombat reboot, showing mainstays like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Mileena in their bloody new game. That's cool and all, but what kind of MK would that be without its stalwart hero? That's right, it's Liu Kang coming up next.
Having mastered the shaolin fighting style from the monks that raised him, Liu Kang became the realm's best hope. That, and having the thunder god's favor isn't so bad either. His voice is still as silly as ever, but he's still got the moves. There's his old fireball attack, then he's got a fancy fiery teleport strike as well. And who could forget about that noisy bicycle kick of his?
Enough about him. Mortal Kombat will also be coming in a neat Kollector's Edition, in case you want to go the extra mile with this game.
