The Traveller’s Tales team behind the Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones games are coming together again for another entry in the popular Lego Star Wars series: Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars.

 

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will include all the characters from both seasons of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series as well as some from the movie series. The game will feature brand new battle modes and an upgraded level builder.

 

Players can shoose to play as either a Jedi or Separatist with all-new character abilities, such as Squad command, Lightsaber slicing, Lightsaber jumps, long distance Jedi attacks and Grapple Tie-Ups .

 

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will ship this autumn onWii, DS, PS3, PSP, PC, and Xbox 360.

I dont know, the clone wars just doesn't seem to have the same zazz as "Star Wars" (the real original Star Wars that is) or Indiana Jones.

Heck, not even batman.

I agree, I loved their take and humorous cutscenes for indiana jones and the original star wars.

... but clone wars? Kinda indifferent about it really

You're right, the humor of the LEGO games is really what pushes them over the top when combined with the good game play.

But you have to be familiar with the subject for humor to be put in context and understood.

Even with LEGO rockband we'd be familiar enough with most of the songs and artists to understand a goof on Ozzy or Van Halen for instance.

But I dont think the clone wars is widely embraced enough to make a LEGO spoof effective for most people.

I certainly wouldn't "get it".

Which would reduce it to only a candy colored platformer made out of LEGO's.
