LucasArts has announced that LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, the next chapter in the LEGO Star Wars videogame franchise, will be out early of next year for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, DS and PC.

Developed by the folks at Traveller's Tales, the latest installment of the series is slated for release in North America on February 15th 2011 and in the UK on February 18th.

The LEGO games were cool the fist time, then playing the orig trilogy was better the second time.

But its been bleher and bleher after that and even a bit grotesque the way they keep trying to breed it with everything.

I dont think even ramping up the bits on screen is gonna change the fact that the idea is baked now.

But then some people still like michael jackson and call of duty games so they would be remiss to not whore it out until the wheels come all the way off.

I agree but I've noticed a bit of improvement in the last Indiana Jones game. They kind of departed from the movies a bit and made kind of silly boss fights--I thought that was pretty cool and made thing more interesting. Maybe they can keep it up and their games will be fresher going into the future.

I'm not holding my breath, but I'll give this game a try anyway, and if it's good, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
