Kim Kardashian to be the next Lara Croft?

kk2The Tomb Raider film producers are currently busy with a new movie that'll have "a far more comic-strip version of Lara." It seems by that description, they think Kim Kardashian would fit the bill more than Angelina Jolie.

 

According to Showbiz Spy, Kardashian is already in negotiations to land the Lara Croft role. It throws question to why she was selected, given that she really isn't an actress and her regular TV exposure is a reality show. The entertainment news site reports though that Kim's taking acting lessons.

 

Can Kardashian keep up with Croft?

What does "comic strip version" mean? It doesn't sound like anything that's going to lead to a good movie. And, uh, she's not an actress. Their casting decision was based solely on looks? Is Uwe Boll doing this movie?
