Killzone 3 now has an official release date

PS3 gamers will be gunning for the Helghast again in February 2011. It's been official for a while, but now it's even more so. Sony has just announced the official release date for Guerrilla Games' Killzone 3.

 

The upcoming shooter is now set for a February 22, 2011, retail date. No further details yet on any special edition boxes or bundles, but seeing as how this is one of Sony's biggest properties expect to hear more about those soon.

And now I want a limited edition PS3 with a Helghast helmet on it. :(

Does that actually exist? :eek: I really fancy getting some limited edition PS3. Especially 'cause once the novelty wears off, they have good resale value.

But anyway, this game already looks set to blow the stellar Killzone 2 out of the water. Good times lie ahead indeed. :-)

An option for less swearing would be nice.

KZ2 was a pretty good imo. The price helped too (cheap).

What are you like 2 yrs old or something? The game is rated M, meaning mature. The box also has what's in it. Don't like it, don't buy it. Not every game needs to be clean. Killzone is is more on the real reality aspect unlike some other games that just throw in curse words like COD.

You see, I don't believe all soldiers got that type of language, they were educated and thus no need to swear all the time.

But anyway, it's okay if they leave as it is. :-)
