| 1. Killzone 3 edges Bulletstorm for top spot in UK |
| 2. Previous week results |
Here we have two first-person shooters. Both the stuff of headlines prior to release, both with their own gameplay attractions, and both were released February 25th in the UK. On one hand, you have a multiplatform release of a brand new IP. On the other, you have PS3-exclusive that also happens to be in one of the platform's core franchises. Who wins this round?
Here's the top ten for the week ending the 26th of February:
- Killzone 3 (Sony)
- Bulletstorm (EA)
- Call of Duty: Black Ops (Activision)
- FIFA 11 (EA)
- Just Dance 2 (Ubisoft)
- Dead Space 2 (EA)
- Marvel Vs Capcom 3 (Capcom)
- Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (EA)
- Wii Party (Nintendo)
- Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (Ubisoft)

For your reference, here's the top ten for the previous week, which ended on the 19th of February.
- Call of Duty: Black Ops (Activision)
- Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (Capcom)
- Dead Space 2 (EA)
- Test Drive Unlimited 2 (Atari)
- FIFA 11 (EA)
- Just Dance 2 (Ubisoft)
- Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (Ubisoft)
- Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem (Nintendo)
- Grand Theft Auto: Complete Edition (Rockstar)
- LittleBigPlanet 2 (Sony)
Unfortunately, the Chart Track doesn't mention any figures. Since this is an all-platform chart, there are more platforms backing Bulletstorm than the PS3-exclusive Killzone 3. It'd be interesting to see how many PS3 players picked up Bulletstorm over Killzone 3, as well as the distribution of Bulletstorm sales across its different platforms.
Killzone 3 and Bulletstorm both offer their own twists to the FPS genre. Killzone 3 has career ladders and the integration of new melee attacks, while Bulletstorm tried to re-invent the genre with over-the-top "kill with skill" tactics. It seems Guerrilla Games' Helghast invasion still won the launch head-to-head.

Will buy KillZone 3 when it's in the bargain bin.

Improving on places of the previous game...
I myself prefer Killzone2 to 3 though, a bit too much variety in the game, I liked the city setting in 2 a lot

Fanboys can be so gullible, it's ridiculous.
I've not yet read a fanboy saying that KillZone 3 has better graphics than a PC game, but I bet some retard out there does say that.
