Harmonix and MTV Games are opening up 2011 with some cold, hard Cash. The Man in Black is paying a visit to the Rock Band store next week.
Johnny Cash's Rock Band 3 debut will feature eight of his greatest hits, including the classics “Cry, Cry, Cry”, “Folsom Prison Blues”, “I Walk the Line” and “Tennessee Flat Top Box”. The latter two songs will feature Pro Guitar/Pro Bass upgrades.
In addition to the Cash classics, a nine pack of songs spanning a number of genres will be available for free as part of the Rock Band Free Pack 01. The pack will consist of songs already available on previous Rock Band titles like Abnormality, Anarchy Club, Bang Camaro and The Main Drag.
Both packs will be available in the US on PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii on January 4. Europe will get the PS3 versions on January 5.
