John Lennon's Imagine album heads to Rock Band 3 |

Harmonix and MTV Games has finally pinned down the release date of John Lennon's Imagine album for the Rock Band 3 music store. The downloadable content is scheduled to arrive next week and will include nine tracks from the late singer's second solo effort, Imagine.
Available on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii starting November 23, these tracks will include:
- “Crippled Inside”
- “Jealous Guy”
- “It’s So Hard”
- “I Don’t Wanna Be A Soldier Mama”
- “Gimme Some Truth”
- “Oh My Love”
- “How Do You Sleep?” X
- “How?”
- “Oh Yoko!”
All original master recordings, each track will cost US$ 1.99 / 160 MS Points / 200 Wii Points. The "Imagine Album" on the other hand will set you back US$ 14.99 / 1,200 MS Points. Songs marked with an "X" will include Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for US$ 0.99 per song.
"The songs on John Lennon's Imagine run the gamut from beautiful piano-driven ballads like ‘Jealous Guy’ to all-out guitar rockers like ‘Gimme Some Truth’,” said Paul DeGooyer, senior vice president of electronic games, music and programming for MTV Networks. "It's an incredible musical statement, and a real workout on keyboard, guitar and vocals in Rock Band 3. We're very excited to confirm it as one of the first downloads for our new game, and to help our fans celebrate John's 70th birthday with its release."
