It's been said that many have been expecting this cut as early as late last year, when upper management made some changes, starting off with Steve Wadsworth's departure from the Media Group back in September. After that, another pillar in the company, Graham Hopper, head of the gaming division for the past eight years, also bid farewell.
Just this past week, Epic Mickey developer Junction Point has also been headlined to have laid off some of its staff. All of the stats remain on the down low, however, with Disney being very careful not to spill any unnecessary beans. This restructuring is only the latest of the long string of signs that there is some trouble brewing in Mickey Mouse's fort.
