Infinity Ward debunks COD subscription rumor |

Infinity Ward's ever reliable community manager Robert Bowling has debunked rumours that some sort of subscription modes are in the works for the Call of Duty franchise. According to Bowling tweet:
"Modern Warfare 2 subscription plan rumors going around. For the record, nobody has to pay to play COD or MW2 multiplayer, nor will they."
Josh Olin, community manager of Treyarch, who will be handling this years Black Ops iteration also added:
"No, you will not have to 'Pay to Play' #CODBlackOps Multiplayer either. Rumor -> Squashed."
Rumors begun circulating in the interwebs yesterday when a user from 360Junkies posted a video showing a supposed to be subscription plan being payable through MS Points.
