Inafune: News on Resident Evil 6 to come "shortly"

Resident Evil fans can heave a sigh of relief as we apparently won't be waiting too long for new word on Resident Evil 6. Capcom's Keiji Inafune has recently said in an interview for a Spanish website that they will be coming out with something about RE6 "shortly".

As translated by Google (so pardon), "Given the great success that supposed for us Resident Evil 5, we want that Resident Evil 6 leaves as rapidly as possible to the market. In face, you will shortly have the news of Capcom about this..."

So although Takeuchi has said himself that he will not be taking part in the creation of RE6, at least we heard something good about it from him, eh? Maybe "shortly" could mean TGS? No better place for it at this point than that event, really.

RE6 FAIL! This is coming from a hardcore RE fan and to this day only RE 2,1,4 are the best. If CC wants my Money then either remake part 2,3 and add in the missing RE 1.5 as a bonus demo and then I'll buy RE6. RE went so wrong back then because they introduced so many characters that they didn't know where to go with on the next on. The mood on each game has been changed horrible and the music which RE 2 has will never be reborn on future RE titles. But I can't say never because there is a game which is coming out called Sengoku Basara 3 for the Wii/PS3 and there is a level with a music that has the same mood level music as RE 2 did so all is not lost.
