First place goes to Mario, the tenth to Sonic, and no John Marston?!
It's no good to trust the Guinness to video games.
Zelda on the 31st place? I can't believe this top 50, it must be a nightmare.
This sucks!

Don't know about Sonic, but Mario deserves the 1st place, he is after all the most famous character on video games.

You definitely need to play RDR, it's epic awesome!

Sure it can't be compared to Solid Snake but, Mr. Marston deserves his place on that top 50!
Even Sackboy is, and he isn't that old (came out in 2008).
If you play RDR to the end, you will love the character, Mr. Marston he was so awesome, did everything for them and yet.. Better not to write any spoilers.

where they made this survey? and what was the age of the people?

The games and series of Pocket Monsters (Pokémon) are degrading in quality.
Better to stick to the early TV series/films and games.

master chief isn't that great and wtf are the CoD guys doing in that list?

I agree with others here that someone like John Marston would have belonged on that list much more and higher up than many others. There might have been just one game, but that doesn't make him less of a memorable character who actually deserves that term. At least he can speak (hello Gordon, can you hear me?).
This is another example of a VERY pointless fanboy voting list that was more about getting votes for characters of a certain console system than about the characters themselves.
