"Guess Who's Back" shirts on the loose for Sega's Dreamcast campaign

Missing Sega's Dreamcast much? A lot still haven't let go of their love for Dreamcast, and that steadfast loyalty shall soon be rewarded. At least by way of shirts, if not by way of the actual console.

"Guess Who's Back?" is the new campaign line from Sega, in line with their promotion for the upcoming rereleases of Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi on XBLA and PSN. The downside of it all though (apart from the fact that it's not the actual Dreamcast that's coming back), is that these shirts are only available for those enjoying the E3 show right now.

Not to worry, though. It looks like Sega's thinking of selling some online too, that is if there's any more left.

Sega's worst system, by far. Good riddance, that. I was sad to see this news. I look forward to the day when nobody remembers this crap.

Wow most retarded post EVER!

The reason the sega dreamcast failed is cause it was WAY ahead of its time and people were scared about CD based games, feeling that the slightest scratch would make the games unplayable.

we already had CD based games before the dream cast. the x32 was CD. saturn was CD. playstation was CD.

The Dreamcast failed because of two primary reasons, not related to the fact of being more advanced or CD-based, but simply due to the facts: It had zero-protection (DRM) to protect games from basic piracy, and it had very little 3rd party support (or an over all smaller game library). As a bonus, the PlayStation 2 shortly followed it with even better specs (aside from online) and backwards compatibility. Ouch.

It didn't fail due to zero protection (classic misconception), it failed due to lack of advertising and promotional items and the steam that Sony had already gathered with the playstation.

The Dreamcast failed mainly because of the PS2. Sega had way bad timing.
The PS2 was released and BAM it demolished Dreamcast sales.

dreamcast failed for many reasons. id say the largest being the ps2. i bet piracy had something to do with it. cd burning was pretty new back then though and burning dc games was tough. i believe it simply comes down to design though. that controller was retarded. i love it personally, but it was unarguably way too large, it didnt have enough buttons and the memory cards were expensive. its too bad it died off because it almost seemed like the arcade games died off with it. anyways microsoft hacked that shit to kill it off to sell xboxes. they wanted sega's support. 3 reasons, no dvd (ps2), shit design (drive, contoller) and microsoft made sure it was hacked up good.
