With 2010 just literally a couple of weeks away, it sure helps to know what games we should expect for the new year. Aaron Greenberg obliges the Xbox 360 gamers as he confirms their line up of Xbox 360 exclusives for the first half of 2010 in the latest Major Nelson podcast.
Said Greenberg, "Starting in January we have like a AAA exclusive title pretty much every month for the first half of the year such as Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Alan Wake and Crackdown 2. We also know we have Halo: Reach and Fable 3 coming later that year."
Hey! He mentioned Alan Wake! Could this be for real? About time, I say. And hopefully, they'll start rolling out more information about it too.

Halo: Reach, sure I'll buy it.
Fable 3, never played the first 2 so I won't be getting the 3rd one.
Alan Wake, haven't looked into it that much.
I didn't even know SC:C was a 360 exclusive...

Not a killer lineup if you ask me. ME2 and SC:C aren't even 360 exclusives and Alan Wake's PC version is only on hold, but not cancelled.
I haven't seen much of Crackdown 2, so I can't comment on that one.
Fable 3 looks interesting, though.
And Halo:Reach?
...umm, yeah another one. Never got the hype around Halo.
Played the first one on original Xbox and it was certainly good, but not the killer franchise everyone pushes it to.
I guess the success sorely relies on hype and rapid MS fanboys.

simply put, the games actually have a good story. I'm not a huge fan of the gameplay (Though its alright. I'll stick to MW.) but the actual story (This especially goes to the latest outing of ODST) are actually really well crafted for a FPS.
As for the 'not exclusive', if its only on one console, its exclusive. PC tends to be a seperate market. There are PC gamers who own consoles, of course, but a good majority of them tend to play on PC and rarely foray out into the 'inferior console market'.

I don't see people calling the likes of Left 4 Dead (1 or 2), The Orange Box Collection or Modern Warfare 2 a PC exclusive just because you can't play them on a Mac.
You can call ME2 and SC:C MS exclusives but they're not exclusive to the 360 as you do not need to own a 360 to play those 2 games.

ME and Splinter Cell are console exclusive and where have Greenberg said its 360 exclusive? QJ likes to misinterpret things. Also why not change title like VGChartz does "Xbox 360 First Half of 2010 Lineup Confirmed" that might reduce the flaming.
