Grasshopper teasing 3DS game?

Goichi Suda and the rest of Grasshopper Manufacture may be busy with Shadows of the Damned, but they may also have another project in the works. Not for home consoles, but for Nintendo's upcoming 3DS handheld.

Grasshopper aren't saying anything outright, but a representative of the company has made some rather interesting remarks on the company's Facebook page.

When asked if they have any plans for a sequel to their D game, Contact, a rep said, "No, no information on a sequel to Contact now. We’re not working on any games for Nintendo’s older portable systems. ;-)."

Note the winking smiley, because it appears again on another comment from the rep: "3DS? What’s that? ;p".

The Nintendo 3DS is scheduled for launch in North America in March 2011. If there really is a Grasshopper game for it, perhaps we'll hear more around that time.
