grandiaMake some room on your PS3s and PSPs, RPG fans. After being released on the Japanese PlayStation Store ten months ago, GameArts PSOne classic Grandia is finally coming to the US PlayStation Store.

Grandia shipped on two discs when it came out ten years ago, and the size of that content is reflected in its US$ 9.99 price tag. You can start reliving Justin's adventure come this Thursday.

Never finished this game, but seeing Justin;s goggles reminds me of Thousand Arms. Now that was a weird but fun amalgamation of genres. Hopefully they put that on the Store too.

Speaking of 1000 Arms, everyone that loves RPGs must play that game. It was a very orriginal title and one of the first games where a majority of it was voice acted (and not badly considering no one did it before)

That's my favorite game for the rest of my life.

The official versions of PSone games don't use the screen more efficient than self converted ones right?

Some do, like Vagrant Heart for instance. But most of them don't use the widescreen format.

Oh is that what you were getting at.

Honestly most games, especially RPG's really look okay stretched out in fullscreen to me.

And for the a few like racers or something that look to "fisheyed" stretched out Zoom works well as long as you dont miss any important guages or stats at the edges.

I would be all cake if someone could add a function to manually adjust the screen position.

A really great and under-rated game, already have it on eboot.

All of the sequels have been nice also, hopefully they'll continue this series.

@ X, thats a good question. I'm not sure what the difference is.

Although for multi disk games, I think I'd prefer to be able to load the disks each as separate eboots to save disk space instead of as one combined eboot like the PSN store does.
