It seems Namco Bandai didn't check God Eater as thoroughly as they might have wanted. Immediately following the game's release in Japan this week, players have already found a bug that nets them a whole lot of cash.

The bug lets players buy a weapon called "Kankakutai" for 50fc at the game's General Store and then sell it for double the price. "FC" is the game's currency. There are apparently other items that can be sold for more than they're bought for, but the Kankakutai gives the best return.

As you can see in the images above, 1,790fc was turned into a whopping 1,000,020fc within a few hours. Yeah, it takes some time.
