You've seen the trailer, now you're gonna get a dose of Gears of War 3's first screenshots and official wallpaper! Yep, now that the cat's out of the bag, we can now all enjoy anything and everything that's got something to do with Epic Games' newest star.

 

Check them all out below. Gears of War 3 has been dated for an North American and Asian release on April 5, 2011, April 7th in Japan, and April 8th for Europe.

I like Gears and all, but this announcement trailer was so f*ckin terrible. They were all just standing there shooting at each other like they were Terminators. It looks like they didn't even put any effort into it and just wanted to get that 3rd title out there. Just looked so damn plain. The Gears 2 announcement trailer was better, the one that was just red and black with the chainsaw battle.
