Gamers in Japan prefer Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 on PS3 over Xbox 360 |

It's not really newsworthy when a multiplatform game sells better on the PS3 than on the Xbox 360 in Japan, but for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, the numbers make quite a striking statement.
The game launched October 21 in the region and has sold around 69,000 copies since then. 64,000 of those were of the PS3 version - only 3000 for the Xbox 360.
The first Ultimate Ninja Storm was exclusive to the PS3, which may help partially explain why players opted to get the sequel on the same platform. Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 was also CyberConnect2's first attempt at an Xbox 360 game. All the same, it looks like Microsoft needs to step up the 360 marketing in Japan.

Most PS3 games are no bigger than a standard 360 game. They are just replicated 3 to 4 times on the disk because of the blurays exponentially slower data read time.
So all that extra storage? 9 times out of 10, its going to waste. Or being used on LOSSLESS 10.2 sound or whatever... Which 90% of consumers dont have the proper sound system for anyway, so its also a total waste.
So, duplicated data and uncompressed sound is all you really get for your AWESOME BLURAY.
tl;dr Bluray kinda sucks.

Also look at Final Fantasy XIII. The PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIII is far superior because it has a better frame rate, better load times, better shadowing, better graphics, better resolution (1080p in pre rendered cutscenes and full 720p during gameplay and in game cutscenes) and the entire 32GB game could fit into 1 disc! While the Xbox 360 got the shit version of Final Fantasy XIII which was compressed to 18GB which made the Xbox 360 version have shit grapics, a horrible resolution (fake 720p during gameplay and in game cutscenes and 576p in pre rendered cutscenes, a horrible frame rate, poor shadowing, slightly longer load times and it was on 3 discs, you actually had to swap discs while you were playing LOL!
That just shows that DVD sucks, the Xbox 360 sucks, Micr$hit sucks and you SUCK!!!

I could list you the smallest to the biggest, and no, MSG4 does not fill all 50GB.
Most PS3 games would fill a DVD9 perfectly!
Btw, Naruto is overrated, I can't stand it any more, this is a lot like Pokémon, kids just can't contain themselves and got to have more of the same shit.
Dragon Ball Z games went down the whole, Naruto is going too, Pokémon as well.
Where is One Piece for consoles? They're not interested, as the manga and anime does quite well and better than Naruto.
"Blueray discs which means MUCH more space for developers to put in stuff."
It's Blu-ray not Blueray.
That reason is invalid, as stated above.

2. This particular game installs to 3.1GB (after removing disc padding etc)..so the full game is essentially 3.1GB, so your argument is even extra invalid..

BTW unless you are a Naruto fan the game blows...

Naruto is anime related game so it target mostly japanes gamers , and most hap gamers have a PS3 bcz its hove most RPGs and anime related games , no surprise then .
for the size , BD can handel uncopressed data so fast loading (psp cso vs iso fact) and M$ refused to use it .

Anyway, they might make money from this yet, if they do a double release like this in the US. I would still prefer the superior PS3 graphics, but I think 360 users should enjoy this game as well.

Dohohoho!

Everything is heavily compressed either way 'cause of the limited 460mb (or so) RAM memory.
Honestly, I enjoyed 'playing' Metal Gear Solid 4, but just because it's bigger than 30gb in size doesn't automatically make it a better game than one that is 8gb in size.
